Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated was founded on the campus of Howard University January 13, 1913 by 22 enlightened, dynamic college women who represented the epitome of sisterhood, scholarship and service.
Kappa Chapter is the 10th chapter of hundreds and was chartered at UC Berkeley on February 21, 1921 by seven distinguished college women-making it the first Black Sorority established west of the rocky mountains.
Hello, my name is Danielle Armstrong and I am a pre-law senior majoring in Rhetoric with a minor in Peace and Conflict Studies. My long-standing commitment to civil rights and my passion for advocating on behalf of underrepresented communities has fueled my desire in wanting to become a federal judge. Beside loving to travel outside of the country, I also enjoy watching movies and hanging out with my friends in my spare time.

Hi! My name is Nasiera Byrd and I am a senior majoring in Public Health with a minor in African American Studies. After graduation I plan to pursue a Phd in Epidemiology. My long term goal is to open my own non-profit organization that will be geared towards the upliftment of African American girls ranging from ages 12 to 19. When I am not working hard in the E.O.P office I spend my time reading, baking and writing poetry.

After graduation, I plan to attend law school and utilize my knowledge of America’s political and governmental system to impact marginalized communities as a civil rights attorney. In my spare time I enjoy running, playing the piano, and developing my media and video editing skills.

While my heart is currently in the Bay Area, I am originally from the Inland Empire in Southern California. I plan to become an Obstetrician Gynecologist and specialize in patients with intellectual disabilities. When I am not studying hard for science courses or engaging in feminist discourse, I enjoy reading, singing, and getting fit on the basketball court.
